Linda Cook, once again, has written the loveliest poetry this month in Floriana Hall's class at the Long Story Short School of Writing - You, Me and Poetry.  The poems were inspired by Jack Richard's painting, Cliff by the Sea (below).

PALLETTE MAGIC  (Acrostic)

Calm cobalt colored waves

Lap and lick my feet

Issuing invitations to explore

Flecks of crystal sand

Forming castles by nature's hand

Beyond imagination, secret miracles of the sea

Yawning wide, yielding lessons for me.

Tranquil islanders abide in peace

Humble heritage, a simple life

Embrace and value their birthright.

Share solitude, whisper beneath mango tree

Enablers for future generations

Amazing grace, nature's gifts....free.

Jagged bluffs stand guard

Buffeting tropical winds

Islanders sleep deep
